Kinect vs. Move: which tech excites our readers more?

Ten days ago we asked you which motion control technology had you ready to get out your wallet: the PlayStation Move or Microsoft's Kinect. 9,104 readers responded to our unscientific poll; as you can see above, the results aren't good news for either company.

It seems Ars Technica readers simply aren't that excited about either of the two competing technologies. Over 42 percent of respondents claimed that neither tech appeals to them, while over 20 percent said that they still need more information to be convinced to buy either tech. Only 224, not even three percent, claim that they'll be buying both motion controllers.

The Kinect seems to be slightly more popular than the PlayStation Move among our readers, but it was hardly a blowout: 4.72 percent more respondents say they are definitely going to buy the Kinect instead of the PlayStation Move.
