Knight's Contract: loading screens with a side of combat

Competition for our gaming dollars is fierce, and if you want someone to drop the cash for your game, you have to give them a good reason. Why should we buy your game and not someone else's? I was sent a preview build of the upcoming Knight's Contract, and after playing for a bit... the case is not made.
The idea of a knight who can't be killed guarding a witch with magical powers who must be protected is a neat one, but the technical aspects of the game never live up to the promise. The combat feels like God of War, the graphics are nothing special, and the voice acting is melodramatic and suffers from awkward translation. Every few moments the game pauses in order for a black box to pop up to give you some mundane detail of the gameplay, stopping any momentum dead in its tracks.
